Michael Capiraso Helping Kids To Stay Fit In 2021

About 500 students in 13 Public schools in New York will receive New York Road Runners’ New Balance shoe courtesy (NYRR). NYRR has a 1 for You Youth program whose focus is to encourage children to be physically active from childhood to adulthood. All the 500 shoe recipients will participate in NYRR’s Rising New York Road Runners competition. With more children in the United States at risk of getting obese and developing weight-related problems, the initiative will go a long way in securing the future of healthy individuals.

Michael Capiraso has signed a multi-year contract with Balance to give shoes to deserving members of the community. Through the New Balance Run Hub, the well-established brand Balance will donate one pair of shoes to a needy child with every purchase made.

As the president of NYRR, Michael Capiraso has doubled the organization’s yearly revenue to about $100 million. He has also increased the number of event participants and has established a partnership with blue-chip companies like TCS, Balance, and Trust for Public Land.

As more runners engage in the virtual marathon, fans of the New York City Marathon have more ways to cheer their favorite runners. The new NYRR app has been upgraded and added new tools, including an augmented reality feature for runners and fans and mile-by-mile run tracking. The app was launched recently ahead of this year’s New York Marathon.

According to Michael Capiraso, the app can track miles, benefit racers with tracking and modifying their running times. The app also has a share-tracking feature that will allow marathon participants to share a link with family and friends. The NYRR app will help runners stay connected during the pandemic.
